For those of you who have been following the ongoing adventure of my bizarre life, my fiancee (and fellow capper) Kari and I are living in my car. We had been living with a swingin' couple with but things turned sour and we've been in the car for a couple months- I work nights and kari goes to school days so we take turns sleeping in the back. It's not too bad, and there's a (different) swingin' couple that we stay with on my nights off.

Star Trek MMO Finally Becoming a Reality

Since about 2000, I have been seeing stuff about the idea of a MMORPG based on Star Trek. Over time several companies have had the title for development but always gave up on it or went bankrupt. Finally a combonation of companies are working to bring the game to life. Cryptic Studios along with Atari are currently conducting closed beta testing of their Star Trek MMO. Monty Python week On IFC

Those of you in the US who have IFC can catch various Monty Python films and specials this week on the network. Last night they showed Monty Python and The Holy Grail and tonight they have The Life of Brian scheduled. Repeats of both films are later this week. so if you have IFC on your cable system, you might want to tune in to see these.

Back in March, due to my hours having been cut, I left my job at Brunswick (which I had since February 7, 1983) and went to work at an independently owned center in Dublin,Ga. One major plus with that is that I had family there, so it wasn't like I was going to be all alone. My brother lives there and he was the one who talked with the owner to get me the job.

1. Do those Ranger outfits ever get sweaty? I mean, you're fighting and doing backflips in them. How do they get clean?
